Hi my name is Faviola Alcalá Kairuz, I'm a 13 year old surfer from San Juan, Puerto Rico. I have been surfing since I was 7 years old, surfing is my passion, is all I think about.

My dream is to become a professional surfer and a world champ. This past year I have been working hard on my surfing, I have trained and made all the finals I have competed. I'm happy and proud to announce that I made the Puerto Rico Surfing Team rank #1 in my category 16 and under girls from the Puerto Rico Surfing Federation. On September 23 to October 1 I'm going to represent my country in the ISA World Jr Surfing Games in Hyuga, Japan.

This will be a great experience for me and I'm very excited to do my best representing my country and flag. The top surfers from all over the world would be there, this is an important step in my career.

I pledge for you to support me, I need to raise $5840.00 to cover my expenses.
The $5840.00 will cover:
$2500.00 Air Fare from PR  to Hyuga
$1650.00 boarding for 2 weeks $840.00 meals for 2 weeks
$250.00 registration for the competition
$600.00 for 2 new boards
