Mom's Tribute: Publishing Her Book...

HI All:

I am writing with a favor that is somewhat hard to ask:

As many of you know my mom has terminal metastatic breast cancer. What you may not know is that over twenty years ago she wrote nine children's books based around a central character named "Maya" a sprout.

Her aim was to elevate children's esteem through interactions with mother nature. She taught her program to middle school children and spent years trying to get her books published but with her declining health the project remains unfinished.

Hoping to help her realize her dream and legacy, I took it upon myself and hired a superb editor-publisher. I need to raise $3850 to have the book to see this through to fruition.
I would be so grateful and appreciative if you felt inspired to help donate, even if only $10.

Here is an excerpt from a page I just opened to:

"Look, mother nature" says sun. "It's just like we told you. The children are answering our call!"
"Oh yes, Sun, it's so great to see the children discover how important they really are. How they can make a big difference in our world. They now know that they are the future and with a little bit of love and caring, they can save us all. :and you know, sun, now I can be proud again: Thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you are doing for me. Thank you, children!"
