Soccer Scholarship: Diversity & Need
Donation protected
The dream of every young soccer player is to play at the collegiate level. To make the dream come true it takes talent, hard work, and dedication. Very few players accomplish this goal and for some who have, the challenge doesn't stop there.
Aromas Cafe FC (501.3c) has created the Charlottesville Soccer Scholarship to provide money for kids of diverse backgrounds who have achieved their college soccer dream but still need financial help.
The inspiration and first recipients of the scholarship are:
1. Abibi Osman - Kenyan refugee, SOCA U19 Boys Elite, 2017 All-Central Virginia Player of the Year, attending Lynchburg College
2. Barun Tamang - Nepalese refugee, SOCA U19 Boys Elite, attending Randolph College
3. Yayha Mohamed - Kenyan refugee, SOCA U19 Boys Elite, 2017 First Team All-Central Virginia, attending Lynchburg College
These three inspiring young men need our help. Every dollar of this money will go directly to pay for the uncovered portion of their college tuition.
Your donations are tax deductible. #unitedbysoccer
