Christy's care

HI

Some of you might not know but our friend and classmate Christy Dart Woods is critically ill and in hospice now. Due to her problems of paralysis, her muscles in her body have made it hard for her to breath and exhale. She is on oxygen to help with the ease of breathing and nothing more. She was Discharged from the hospital on Sunday evening to rest at home where she wanted to be. Her diagnosis is Respiratory failure due to neuromuscular failure & complications from her spinal cord stroke. The only real treatment is to put a permanent breathing tube in and a feeding tube. As Christy discussed with her husband Earl, it is not the quality of life she would want to live.. They are just trying to make her comfortable now.

Christy has and will always be a huge part of our lives and the class of 1985. She has a heart of Gold and would do anything for any one of us. Please consider donating something to help her family with the expenses of the care she is needing and has already been through.
