Medical Expenses Domenic Garufi

Donation protected
On July 6, the ever adventurous Domenic went for a ride on his bike. It was a day just like any other. But it would be a trick on his bike that caused him to land on his handlebar that would change his world forever. With no outward physical signs, he reported stomach pain to his Mom and went home to lay down. As the night went on his pain progressed and he spiked a fever. An appointment at his pediatrician led his Mom, Lilly to the emergency room at CHOP where within minutes they had rushed Domenic back to emergency surgery for a ruptured colon. Since that time, Domenic has endured numerous surgeries and procedures which has ultimately resulted in the removal of his entire colon and now repair to his small intestines in an effort to save his life. Now having survived the most dangerous and difficult of these surgeries, there are still more procedures and surgeries ahead for Domenic. Amazingly, the strength and passion Domenic has, led him through and he continues to fight through the pain to come back from this injury. On multiple occasions, he was not expected to survive but continues to pull through by the grace of God. As you can imagine, the numerous surgeries and the months of hospitalization and rehabilitation ahead will leave his mom, Lilly with the burden of financial debt that is unfathomable. Please consider donating something no matter how small. And please, please continue to pray for Domenic's recovery because we have seen the power of prayer in this child and know that he is feeling everyone's love and support! God bless!
