TLL 9/11 All-Star CHAMPIONS!
The Thurmont Little League 9/11 All-Star team lost their very first District 2 game. With 14 strikeouts, the hits were just not there. For the next six nights, the "Cardiac Kids" battled their way through the losers bracket with big hearts, fierce determination and unwavering spirit. It all paid off with an incredible 23-6 victory in the championship game!
Our 9/11 All-Star Champions will now represent District 2 (Frederick, Montgomery and parts of Carroll counties) in the Maryland State tournament in Easton, MD. As parents, we are excited for our boys and the memories they are making. Memories that will last a lifetime!
But...(you knew this was coming... I mean, it IS a GoFundMe site ) the reality of travel costs and time off work can be an unfortunate burden on our families. Any amount of support you can give to offset these costs will be greatly appreciated.
