During the past 6 months, my husband and I have been through very difficult times. Due to governmental restrictions related to social security benefits, I am not allowed to work over 25 hours per week, yet the aid is only $600. Our current monthly expenses are over $1,100 once we pay rent, food, bills, and medical expenses such as medicine, since we do not have full medical coverage. Bills that have made me behind in our rent.
It has been over 20 years since my husband has been able to walk and I have tried to do my best to help my family succeed but I need your help. For the last 10 years, I have worked at the Polo Ralph Lauren store and have given my best to the point of being offered a supervisory position. A position I cannot take because I have committed myself to his care.
I am asking for funds because we received a letter that if we do not pay the rent, we will be evicted. If we become evicted, we won’t be able to find cheaper apartments in San Diego and would have nowhere to stay.
