Help save the use of Nick's leg

Hello, my name is Bradd. I live in Minnesota with my wife and my amazing dogs. This year has been a very tough year for me. I have went through three back surgeries in the last three months and haven't been able to work for the last year now. My wife has been working her tail off just trying to keep a roof over our head, food on the table and our bills paid.
On Tuesday, March 15 our 11 year old American Eskimo Nick tried to jump up onto our bed at bedtime and didn't jump high enough. Nick landed hard on his right rear leg and started screaming and crying at the top of his lungs. Nick is was unable to put any weight on his rear leg so we made an appointment with our local vet to get Nick checked out.
We got Nick to the vet who did an exam and took some X-rays and we found out that Nick has a dislocated hip. The vet attempted to put Nick's hip back into socket but the hip would not stay. Nick is now needing surgery to fix his leg. If Nick doesn't get this surgery, and soon, he will lose use of his leg. We are doing our best to keep Nick comfortable with pain pills and anti-inflammatory meds.
The problem we are having is this. I am out of work and what money my wife makes goes to keeping a roof over our head. The surgery for Nick is estimated to cost $2000 so any money received will go towards Nick's surgery.
Seeing Nick back to his normal self would mean so much to my wife and I. I have had Nick since he was just a puppy and he has been right by my side through a lot of rough times. I am heartbroken right now that I haven't been able to get Nick the help he needs and I hate to see him suffer.
Any amount you would donate would mean the world to my wife and I. Nick isn't just a dog, he is FAMILY. He is the reason my wife and I met. We just want our boy to be back to his old self again.
