Palacios Family Home Sweet Home

Monday July 10th 10:40 AM a man drove his pick up truck into my family's home, attempting suicide. Thankfully everyone involved was not fatally injured. He hit my parents room while they were in bed, my father was able to get my mother out of the room. The truck hit our home cadi corner so two walls were taken out, and the impact took out our elctric box, water line, and gas line. A family friend (Aaron E.) helped us get running water, & the community even provided us with a
generator. (Which now has been replaced) Our neighbors are allowing us to use an extention cord to keep our fridge running (switching back and forth caused our fridge to go out) The amount of damages is estimated to be over 30,000, which is far more expensive to repair, than to completely knock our home down. Our game plan is to put a double wide manufactured home in our existing back yard and, eventually remove the wrecked home from its foundation. We are hoping to cover various damages: Tree removal in the back yard, and knocking the house down, gas and electric lines have to all be repaired. And we are unable to get our utilities till our house is up to city code. The incident caused my dad's spine to be reinjured and really put my family in a rough spot. God has been by my families side and we know this is just a test that will turn  into a testimony. We created this campaign for all of our friends and family who want to help. God bless
