Save Leeloo

Hi, my name is Ami and I’m fundraising for my baby Leeloo who was diagnosed with FIP on 5/24/22. Leeloo is 1 year and 1 month old. We are a foster family for our local humane society. We fostered her mom and siblings and Leeloo bonded with our one year old orange tabby and with us. She has lost so much weight and is down to 4.43 lbs. She wants food but after a couple bits she steps away very uncomfortable. Her energy level is very low and it’s seems painful with even small pets. Our initial visit the vet thought IBS but after I noticed she still wasn’t gaining weight I knew something else was wrong. When the vet said FIP I just burst into tears.  I felt hopeless.

Im a giver and asking for help is very difficult for me but my love for Leeloo moves me to reach out. My husband and I are self employed (house cleaner) and we are raising two boys in this time of inflation. We don’t get yearly raises and with the expenses involved in our work lives and trying to stay afloat in our normal day to day expenses raising children we are not able to afford this treatment that can save our baby.  All funds will go toward Leeloos medication and help with cost of blood work.  I very much want to be able to pay it forward after getting Leeloo better.  

The support through this process has been amazing and I hope to be able to help someone else in my shoes.  

Ive met some very kind people who have helped me get to this place to ask for help. I’m overwhelmed with the kindness and don’t even have words to express my appreciation. Please know we appreciate anything to help us save Leeloo. From the bottom of our animal loving heart , thank you !!!!!!
