Susan's Cancer Treatment
Spende geschützt
On Sunday, September 2nd, Susan decided she'd had enough of feeling ill. She had been extremely exhausted, nauseous to the point of not eating and dizzy. At the emergency room they ran a marathon of tests only to discover black masses in her liver. Black masses equal cancerous. She was told she had cancer in her liver and sent home. An emergency appointment was made with her oncologist she had previously seen 2 years ago to take care of her aggressive breast cancer. They determined that in the process of having her mastectomy some of the cells had become loose in her body. Originally her breast cancer was a ductal carcinoma in situ but it change into being metastatic. This means it was contained in her breast but is now moved to other areas. Only approximately 1 in 50,000 people have this happen. Susan is currently going to chemotherapy once every two weeks for eight weeks. On September 11th they did a liver biopsy to confirm it is the same cancer as before, we expect results in 7 to 10 days. This is a very scary time for our family. There is so much going on that medical bills are the furthest from Susan and Kai's minds. No matter if you have extra change to spare or not, thank you for your support and your prayers!
