Schylar Farnum Assistance Fund

My name is Brian Lankford and I am a friend, co-worker and colleague of Schylar Farnum. Schylar is a Flight Nurse at AeroCare and yesterday was involved in a horrific car accident while traveling from Lubbock to Odessa to work at our AeroCare #5 base. Schylar rear ended a Semi truck which had suddenly slowed down in the middle of the highway. She struck the back of the truck at approximately 75mph. Schylar was trapped inside her vehicle as it began to catch fire. Luckily several bystanders stopped and began trying to free her from her burning vehicle. One gentleman had to give Schylar a fire extinguisher and let her use it inside her car while they desperately tried to free her. With their help and God's grace, Schylar was rescued from her car just before it became a fiery death trap. Her car burnt to the ground along with all of her personal belongings in it. Seminole EMS, and AeroCare #5 responded to the scene and Schylar was then transported to Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock with serious injuries and multiple fractures. For anyone who knows Schylar or her family from Lovington New Mexico knows that she is one of the kindest, most loving and caring souls you will ever meet. Schylar has dedicated her life to taking care of anyone in need by being one of the best Emergency Room and Flight Nurses you will ever meet. Now it is time for us to do what we can to take care of her. Schylar and her husband Montana are going to need major help with vehicle replacement, lost wages during her recovery and medical bills.
