Thor's Vet Bill

This morning (July 6, 2017) My roommate, Thor and I went for our morning walk with Thor. We were waiting to cross to the south side of the street as per usual. There was a bus heading north from the west side of the intersection.. we started to walk across the street as the bus was leaving the intersection, out of no where there was a black van that had appeared and ran the red light, Thor was about 5 feet in front of us and got hit the the black van.. Thor shrieked in pain and started to panic and limp, as soon as I saw this I told my roommate to watch Thor as the driver of the van kept on driving.. I sprinted after the van barefoot and finally got his license plate to report to the cops. He eventually came back.. I got all his information and gave it to the cops. We rushed to the vet to get Thor help, he got an x-ray and the outcome was he has a broken radius.. to fix a broken radius, there needs to be surgery followed by some plates to keep his leg straight in order for the break to heal. This leads to the reason of me creating this GoFundMe page, the surgery is about $5,000... I can't afford to pay this right now and I can't get ahold of the guy who hit Thor. Luckily there are a few witnesses and camera footage which I'll include to the page later. I've already spent $800 at the vet to get him checked out and get some antibiotics/pain killers/sedative pills.
