My Mothers Sudden Death

My mother (Dawn Roberts) recently passed away on July 6th, at only 51 years old. She was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal gland cancer with only a two weeks notice. She went to Dana Farber hospital just for a consultation but ended up being admitted into Brigham Women's for immediate care. An undiagnosed tumor that had been overlooked and growing began in the adrenal gland spreading the cancer to her liver, lungs, and kidneys. As the cancer spread and her health decreased significantly, her organs began to fail. One being her kidney, which stopped functioning. With only one kidney, fluid couldn't circulate properly causing it to build up in her legs which eventually rose to her lungs. With no current cure for cancer and her body being too weak to withstand chemotherapy or radiation she was perceptible to death. Early Thursday morning she stopped breathing and began her journey to heaven. At a young age I have endured the loss of my mother, as well as the broken hearts of my close family. Dawn always made sure everyone else was okay before herself. She was a selfless person. She was amazing, beautiful, and so caring. We plan to use the money for funeral/ service costs and college funds. Any donations and support would be greatly appreciated.
