Evie Grace Brouwer Memorial Fund

10/25/17 So, this is dragging on....   Veronica's trial got moved to Dec. 12. This is a HUGE disappointment to us, as we were hoping for Nov. 7 in court, and she would be HOME with her husband and 3 children. Meanwhile, legal fees and medical bills need to be paid...... The lawyer and private investigator charges are ASTRONOMICAL and God says for us to TRUST,  that He will supply..... We DO trust, His grace is sufficient. If you feel led to give and help with some of these fees, please PM me and I will forward an email put out by Matt and Veronica's church, to financially help - where to send help and HOW.  God bless! 10/7/17 So after 3 1/2 months, we finally were able to lay our baby girl to rest. The service was beautiful, but final goodbyes are so hard. We WILL see her again, God promised us that. But her life here on earth was too short, and she made her Mommy and Daddy and 3 brothers so happy to love on her! There was never a precious little girl so wanted and adored by us all! Life continues to go on now for all of us, our new "normal" without our Evie Grace - whatever that is. Our focus continues to bring her mommy home, from the terrible injustice done to her. Veronica and Matt have been so strong. I've never been prouder of them. God is holding us all - only in His love and tender mercies, holding us tight as a family, and holding us tight with His promises. We are constantly reminded of the many, many prayers of His people, walking us through the pain. We thank you all so much. Please continue with your prayers, dear Prayer Warriors - until Veronica is home to her hubby and 3 beautiful sons! God bless! 7/14/17 I put a tender picture on today of Evie Grace with her Daddy. She was SO treasured, wanted and adored by mommy and daddy, and all of us who were so surprised to have this bundle of PINK come into our lives after 3 very ambitious boys! Why did God choose for her to come home after such a short time here with all of us? So hard to understand.... We will see you again, Evie Grace!  ⚘ 7/13/17 Dear, dear friends, At the time this memorial fund was set up, it was with love and honest intentions, for help and love to Matt and Veronica. We are overwhelmed with the many of you who love our families, and wanted to do something NOW, to help Matt move forward with the overwhelming financial burdens he had. It has been brought to my attention that a couple of you who made a loving donation thru this fund, possibly did not understand how this GoFundMe site works:  there is a small percentage fee that comes out of each donation. If you are one of those who already donated and didn't understand, we apologize for any hurt feelings - and if you want to be personally  reimbursed to give another way, please email or IM me, there won't be any hurt feelings, or questions. At the same time this memorial fund was set up by several family members in the Brouwer family, we were made aware, and posted several times on our Facebook,  that members on the Westra family side had also set up another good way to help financially; I will give you details again: there is a Matt Brouwer fund set up thru any "Bank of the West" branch. Many others of you have also sent your personal checks to the families for Matt and Veronica too. Again, all these ways to help, were only set up with GOOD and HONEST intentions because so many people were asking how, how, how to help.....  God bless everyone of you and please continue to lift up Matt, Veronica and the boys in prayer to our Heavenly Father, during this hopefully not too long and difficult legal process. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.... ⚘ 7/12/17 God is so faithful.....  When our hearts are heavy, He has one of His children send up a prayer and a very kind word of encouragement to our families. This is a waiting game.... Veronica is ok and God is protecting her. Matt and the boys are strong, waiting and believing that their mom will be home soon. We are confident and praying for THE MIRACLE.  He is on the Throne, He is in control. All Glory to God. 7/10/17 "When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the ROCK, that is higher than I...."  - Psalm 61:1 7/9/17 Time seems to drag on, and yet things ARE happening. We are continuing to trust in a Sovereign God who loves each one of us. We know He is able. Even though this memorial fund is one way to help Matt and Veronica, and there is also another fund set up through other family members - many, many of you have graciously given privately in your many cards to the family. The love you have all shown to all of us is a true testament to the true body of Christ. There simply are no words to ever thank you enough. Please continue to lift the Brouwers and Westra families up daily, as we take each moment and day at a time. 7/1/17 Hundreds of emails, phonecalls, texts and cards have been pouring in, asking for a tangible way to help the Brouwer and Westra families. Here is a way to help them. They need help with Evie's medical bills, burial costs and now legal fees. There are so many uncertainties for the future - but God is still on His throne and He is in control! Your outpouring of love and support for our families is overwhelming. We want you to know we feel your prayers, love and comfort. Our hearts ache and our arms long for our precious little Evie Grace. Until that day we see you again, rest in the arms of Jesus.
