Hello everyone! Skylynn has been through a lot in her short little life. She was born with gastroschisis and she lost all but 25cm of her small intestines. They call that short gut syndrome. Skylynn was admitted back in the hospital on May 25th due to not growing and liver failure. On June 23rd Skylynn had surgery to connect her small intestines to her colon and the surgery went get til today June 27th she has had a set back. Her belly filled with blood and all her vitals drop to very low levels. They had to take her back to surgery to remove all the blood and see if you can fine the problem. All that went well and she in now in the ICU recovering. Though she is recovering she is still very sick and it will be a while for her to be back to normal. Thanks to The amazing nurses and doctors at Stanford have done a great job keeping our little girl alive. We are asking for a little help for us her parents. Since we have been here for over a month it gets a bit expensive to have to eat out everyday all day. Also her dad has had to take time off of work to be here for this difficult time. Anything will help us at this point. We would love to say thank you to everyone and we really appreciate you help.
