Pam’s End Of Life Expenses

In July 2019, Pam was diagnosed with extensive small cell lung cancer. Unfortunately there is no cure for this type of cancer. The treatment given was only to prolong her life. The doctors did all that they could do but the cancer has now spread to her brain, liver, chest, stomach and bones. The prognosis now is 6 weeks or less to live. As you could imagine, it was heartbreaking receiving this news. Pam has no life insurance and her daughter, Summer and son in law, Jamie have lost their income due to the covid-19 pandemic so they are not prepared at all like they hoped they’d be when this time came. Pam is the best mama, nana and sister to her loved ones. She took in and has cared for her older brother for years, so unfortunately when she passes he will be placed in a nursing home. Situations like these are always hard but in a pandemic like this it makes every decision and obstacle much harder.
