The Ramp To Recovery

John Filuta Sr. has been through it all, and it has really put him and his family to the test. A few years ago, he was diagnosed with, and beat colon cancer after having already beat brain cancer 25 years prior. Since then, he has had multiple surgeries and doctor visits. Just a few months ago, John suffered from a stroke that temporarily paralyzed the entire right side of his body. He has been fighting every day in rehab centers, and thanks to his family, co-workers, and close friends, he has not given up motivation. Unfortunately, Van Rensselaer Manor told him that his insurance will no longer cover his stay, so his family is now rushing to get a ramp installed on their home so that he can move back and continue his physical therapy from there. People who know John, know that he is a strong willed and motivated individual, and he has worked his entire life to support and provide for his wife and children. They will also tell you that, a person like him does not deserve such bad luck. I set up this GoFundMe to help the family with the cost of the ramp installation, and even some of the medical expenses or physical therapy.
