Cancer sucks so let's get rid of it

Hey Everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to look into this, I very much appreciate your time and thoughts.


I have thought for many hours on how to present this message and obviously authenticity is the best way, so here I go.


My mama was recently diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer, an aggressive and rapid growing form of cancer. A devastating punch to the stomach for all of us, especially considering her lifestyle has been healthy and conscious. It is the type of diagnosis you dread and really want nothing to do with.
As if that news was not enough we have suffered a few other blows since then, one being that insurance is proving to be far more difficult than originally thought.


A wise and lovely friend said to me recently "You can do it, mostly because you have too. It will most likely suck a lot but it is the path you have to face, and there is no escaping... dreading it will only make it harder".

So, here we sit at the beginning stages of this process both overwhelmed and confused, trying to balance out the steps. After all this is my mama and I would not be here with out her. And I cannot imagine my life continuing with out her at this point in time, or ever really.


In the end, I am here, asking you for donations and assistance so that there is at least more space for us to feel secure as we pursue and explore this healing process. Though money does not buy happiness, it does provide security and some relief of stress.
