“I need some help. I’m in Avalon Elementray and I get weekend food...But my brother and sister are in Manatee Middle School and they get no food. We are Homeless, living at Gran’s and in the car on & off. Help me feed my family”- Johnny P (4th grader, Avalon Elementary, Naples)
Homeless students are real, and counted 881 last year. Help us to feed 40 homeless teens -11 years old to 13 years old - knocked out of their houses by Hurricane Irma.
$5k will buys 7,000 calorie weekend packs of groceries delivered every Friday to the school for our 40 kids to take home for the weekend, wherever home is that day.
At least we can take one stressor off their plate. Where will their next meal
