4 x 4 x 48 against domestic violence
To raise money in aid of Great Lakes
Women's Shelter. Starting at 8pm Friday 5th March, 2021, I’ll be rowing 4 miles (6.4km) every 4 hours for 48 hours on an indoor rowing machine.
It’ll add up to 83.2km on the concept 2
machine.
Domestic violence is a scurge on our
society but services, like those provide by the Great Lakes Woman’s Shelter, are a shining light in the victim’s world which has gone dark.
59510 offences of domestic violence were committed against women in NSW in 2020. Countless others went unreported.
Statistics indicate we all know someone who is a victim of domestic violence. The women’s refuge provides them a safe haven to escape this insidious disease.
All funds raised go directly to the
Shelter to support them support women and children suffering Domestic violence.
Thank you in advance for your
contribution to this cause.
