Change the world with 4-H heroes!

Tax deductible
The Collier County 4-H Association supports positive youth development and enables children to become productive citizens by providing financial assistance to the clubs and educational programs within Collier County 4-H.

We believe in the power of young people and know that with the right resources, every child can realize their strengths and the potential to improve the world around us.

4-H Clubs reach kids in every corner of Florida – from urban neighborhoods to suburban schoolyards to rural farming communities.

Demand for our services is growing. We now provide services to over 7,000 children!

Educational programs provided by 4-H funding include:

Camp Cloverleaf: Programs at Camp Cloverleaf bring science to life in this living laboratory. Groups of “campers” observe, explore and interact with nature in an informal setting of experiential learning. The 4-H Environmental Education Curriculum can serve as a guide for your outdoor experiences.
More details can be found by visiting, http://florida4h.org/camps_/cloverleaf/

Ag-Venture: a “hands-on” learning experience designed to teach students the importance of agriculture and to help them develop an understanding and appreciation of where their food comes from and the impact of Agriculture in their everyday lives.

Legislature:
4-H Members come develop your skills to debate, analyze legislation and speak publicly, all while making new friends and having a whole lot of fun. At this civic education event, you can sponsor a bill, amend, or lobby it, then debate the issues on the Capitol house and Senate floors with your friends. Legislature is open to youth 4-H Age 13 to 18

4-H University: Florida 4-H University is a week-long overnight event for young adults held at the University of Florida. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in educational workshops led by University of Florida faculty, explore career opportunities, lead community service activities, interact with youth from all over the state, and have fun while developing critical life skills that will help them become productive and engaged citizens in their communities, their country, and their world.

4-H Robotics Program: 5th graders in Collier County have the opportunity to build robots in class through 4-H! Through Robotics, children learn teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, engineering, and design.  Due to the high expenses of robot kits, only 6 robots are available for the 30 elementary schools that are covered by 4-H. More information can be found by visiting, https://4-h.org/parents/stem-agriculture/robotics/

Other programs 4-H incorporates in the development of youth are Drone Discovery, beekeeping, kayaking, marine education courses, and CPR and first aid training! Last year we had over 100 students want to become CPR certified but due to lack of funds, we had to charge each student $50 a head and only 20 students could afford it.

Each of these programs are in place to empower the next generation and allow them to realize their strengths and potential to improve the world we live in.

Please consider donating to our cause, allow the children of today to grow into the best version of themselves!

We Need Your Help!

Our funds are not keeping up with the needs we are trying to fulfill. We can’t let this happen and that is why we are here. We need your help.

Your support is crucial to solving our fiscal challenge.  Please consider donating.

In addition to a direct donation, you can also help by telling your network of friends about us. Lots of little donations really do add up and make a real difference for this incredibly important cause.

We thank you in advance for your support. Your donation is greatly appreciated and will be used directly to enrich the lives of youth involved in 4-H programs by helping them acquire the science, skills, vision, and motivation needed for them to realize their full potential.
