4 Algona Families Affected by House Fire

Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, Community and Generous Supporters,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out today on behalf of my family and three other families in our community who have recently faced an unimaginable tragedy. A devastating fire that took place at 4:00am on September 10th has left us displaced from our homes, and we are in urgent need of assistance to rebuild our lives.

The families affected by this fire are hardworking, kind-hearted individuals who have done their best to be there for others who are in times of need. Now, we humbly ask for your assistance in rallying around all of us and help provide the support that we now need to heal from this trauma and get back on our feet.

Here is a brief overview of the families impacted:

1. A family of 2 who relocated from Utah to Algona. They have friends nearby, most of their friends and all their family remain in Utah. Along with significant damage to their belongings and financial struggles from this fire, they will also have medical bills from injuries suffered in the fire. They are focused on regaining health and comfort as they work through these tough times.

2. A long-time Western Washington resident whose a hard-working, fun loving and caring man. He has family in the area and is passionate about his community. He has already returned to work to start getting on his feet. He is focused on finding a new home and rebuilding from the ground up.

3. A family of 3, 2 adults and a soon-to-be 3-year-old. They have been an active part of the community and have been looking forward to growing their family in Algona. They are working on finding a safe shelter for their young child and comfort in this insurmountable loss.

4. 2 young adults who moved to Algona last year and were finally settling into town. One works in the sales industry and the other at Pierce College. They are focused on regaining stability to return to work and continue to build their life together.

We have all lost our homes, belongings, and a sense of stability. The financial burden of rebuilding and replacing everything we’ve lost is overwhelming. We are thankful for any support you can offer. It will make a significant difference in all our lives.

We have set up this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds that will directly support our families in our time of need. Your generous donations will go towards:

- Temporary housing and essential supplies
- Replacing lost possessions and furniture
- Emotional and mental health support for the families
- Medical bills resulting from the fire

Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated.

Please feel free to share this campaign with your friends, family, and on social media if you are so moved to help spread the word.

Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support during this challenging time. Your generosity will make a world of difference to our families as we work towards recovery.

With heartfelt gratitude from all of us.
