Dental Fundraiser

This sweet man, Charles, will be 69 next month.  He lives in a group home, is disabled, and cannot work.    His only known relative is a nephew who doesn't maintain contact.  Charles has no upper front teeth, and cannot be understood when he talks.  This causes him to be isolated, since no one can understand him.   He also has a pacemaker.  Communicating medical symptoms to his doctor is critical but nearly impossible due to his disability which affects his ability to write.  Getting  Charles teeth is our goal.

As a Medicare Insurance broker, I was able to place him in a plan that provided some dental coverage. However, it is not nearly enough to meet his needs. We are in a bit of a time crunch with the end of one year and the beginning of a new year. We need to raise $1491 immediatly. This along with his dental coverage will enable Charles to have the neccessary 5 surgerical extractions of residual roots, 2 surgical extractions, frenectomy,  2 alveoplaplasty with extraction and the providing of a temporary upper denture. This $1491 will give Charles Upper teeth for the first time in many years. If we are not able to raise this amount quickly, the opportunity will go away as the year will end and the available insurance money will go away forever.

If we are successful with 2017 we will be raising more money in 2018 for Charles for the lower jaw.  During 2018 there will be an additional need of $3468.  This will provide for 4 extractions, 1 crown, 1 core buildup, 1 pulp cap, 1 frenectomy, 1 temp lower partial, 1 upper denture and 1 lower denture.

Working together we can help Charles to have teeth again. Imagine the frustration of not being able to be understood. Imagine the feeling of helplessness. Please help Charles.
