ParaProject Bike Fund

The tandem bike Meyrick and Brian race is a striking machine to look at. This is no "mom and pop" tandem! Unfortunately, their machine's best days are long past. Tandems suffer much greater wear and tear due to the power of two riders flexing the frame and wearing the drivetrain. Meyrick and Brian have been stranded on the side of the road at 3 of their last 4 events with mechanical issues. Their last Ironman race saw them standing under the Penticton sun for 90 minutes waiting for the mechanic to arrive. Please help Meyrick and Brian replace their current tandem with a new, reliable and fast machine capable of taking them to faster (and less frustrating!) times. Your help can keep these guys rolling and doing the good things they do for others as well. Any funds raised above and beyond the cost of the bike will be put towards the paraproject that helps other disabled athletes afford the equipment they need.
