Kristin has been fighting Hodgkins Lymphoma since last spring. Unlike many who have been cured after their initial treatment Kristin's cancer is almost as stubborn as she is. She just completed experimental antibody treatment, after the recommended first round of chemo failed to cure. Unfortunately her PET scan still shows cancer. She now has to undergo additional chemo plus radiation before getting an autologous stem cell transplant. Kristin remains remarkably optimistic, strong and confident. She has no doubt a cure is in her future and neither do all of us who love her. Kristin will be out of work for at least three months and we would like to help her out with medical deductibles, travel expenses since much of her treatment will be done in NY, not to mention upcoming winter oil bills and mortgage payments.
