PLEASE HELP - I know we're all hurting right now, I'm still out of work doing my best to make ends meet and stay afloat but last week my puppy saw a bird flying past my window and broke the screen leaping close to 16 ft to the ground - I've been working from home and now I've had to refuse a job offer that would lead to me making the money I need to take him to an emergency room because Id have to leave him alone all day and him and my other dog/cats like playing too much, I can't risk it. I don't know what to do. My best friend told me to start a GoFundMe day 1 and I've been hesitant because honestly, I don't like asking for help. But the longer we wait the longer he stays in pain whether he's letting me know or not. Hasn't shown any signs aside from one or two yelps while they were playing but he's adjusted so well it's scaring me more - The ASPCA is only taking day-of-appointments and I've spent an hour on the phone each morning since the accident. Every day they tell me there's no room. I borrowed a car and drove him to 2 ASPCA locations but received the same response, every other low cost clinic I've reached out to quoted me at 800 just for the visit and Xrays which are definitely needed, and told me to expect to pay in the 1000s - so here we are. Im a designer and illustrator, my work is on imartofficial.com - site is technically under construction but welcome any work I can do for you based on what you see - Like I said I don't like asking for help.
