Oslo-NYC Musical Exchange

Two years ago I reached out to percussionist Kjell Tore Innervik asking if I could compose a percussion duo for him. What has followed is something I never expected to happen: we are bringing Kjell Tore Innervik to New York and New Jersey for two concerts featuring music by Norwegian, English, and American composers.

On October 3rd, Kjell Tore Innervik and Daniel Paulsen will perform a benefit concert at the Norwegian Seaman's Church in New York City. The concert will feature quartertone percussion works by Norwegian, and American composers. During the intermission, there will be a silent auction with work by artists Lothar Osterburg, and Soseki Sakamoto. All proceeds will go to National Center for Children in Poverty.

But we need your help to seal the deal.
