Savannah & Mantic Excalibur (aka Manny) have qualified for the Morgan Grand Nationals/World Championships in Oklahoma City.
Savannah began riding at 4 years old. She started out on a lesson horse riding Western and then tried Hunt Seat. When Savannah was 9 she was introduced to Saddle Seat. Saddle Seat is a form of Dressage, designed to show off the high trotting action and exceptional training of certain horse breeds. Savannah began taking lessons from hall of fame trainer Anne Speck and she excelled. From that day on Savannah has taken the Saddle Seat world by storm!
At the Morgan Grand Nationals /World Championships in 2012 Savannah took home the titles of Grand National Champion and Reserve World Champion. In 2012 she also won the honor of People's Choice Champion as well as Reserve Champion for her age division. Of all of her awards her highest honor was finishing 7th in the nation in the Morgan Walk Trot division for 2012.
Savannah has overcome many challenges during this show year, but she has never given up on her dream. Her ability to persevere through adversity and her passion for the sport continues to amaze us all. Her "moxie" has paid off with a surprise chance to compete again with the Rancho Del Mar Team at the "Big Show".
Friends, we need all the help we can get to provide her with the opportunity she has worked so hard for. Any contribution big or small will get her one step closer to Oklahoma and a chance to be the 2013 Grand National and World Champion. Please share this with any and all.
