Help Abi fight breast cancer

Some of you will know her, some of you won’t...my darling friend Abi. Abi has a heart as big as you can imagine, she is bright, bubbly and one of the most caring people I know. She is a single mum superstar.

This last 5 months has been full of heart ache and pain for Abi and her 11 year old son Jack. Losing her mum/best friend unexpectedly in October and in January learning she has breast cancer.

Abi is undergoing a double mastectomy next week followed by  chemotherapy. Her treatment will be aggressive due to her age and to give her the best chance at beating the cancer so she can see her gorgeous son grow up.

Abi graduated from Griffith University last December with a Bachelor of Nursing and was offered a grad program at Robina Hosipital which she has had to turn down due to current circumstances.

Thanks to her nursing degree and the clinical placements that went with it, Abi has no annual leave left at work and will require extended time off while undergoing treatment. Whilst she is doing everything in her power to get herself financially stable for the tough road ahead, finances are going to be tight with treatment costs, a mortgage to pay, a son to clothe and feed and animals to take care of...along with school fees!

She is a very proud woman and doesn’t willingly accept help but with some sweet talking I have managed to get Abi’s blessing to create this GoFundMe page to raise funds to help with any unexpected expenses that may arise in the near future.
