Funeral Services For Danny Howle

My dad passed away yesterday, June 15th at 1:23pm in the SICU in the VA Loma Linda Hospital. We are all devastated. He is already so deeply missed. My mom passed away nearly 6 months ago and it broke my Dad's heart. He had many health issues through the years, but they were seeming to be managed well.

When my mom went he began to come down with infection after infection. He wasn't well, but we all knew him to be resilient and he'd always manage to somehow pull through. Some of his friends referred to him as "the cat man" because he seemed to have 9 lives.

The loss of my mom proved to be too great and he wasn't able to come back to us this time. He was funny, smart, loving, creative, full of the best advice and so much more.

We are all hurting. His passing is such a grand loss. We take comfort in knowing that they are together. Just before she passed he told her, "Look for me when I get there. I'll be waving from under the shade tree".

So many helped us in our time of great sorrow when we lost our mom and for that we are so thankful. Sadly, we find ourself in the same situation such a short time later.
