Summer@Brown Pre-College Program

My name is Benjina Laurent and I go to Great Oaks Legacy Charter High School and I am a junior. I aspire to go to Brown University becuase it has a 5 year architechture program. Through this program I would be able to take classes at Rhode Island School of Design which is known to be one of the best design schools around. Going to the Summer @ Brown PreCollege Program would give me a preview of what life would be like if I attend the school of my dreams. The program will be a growing experience for me because I have never been away from my family or to a school program like this before. This will help prep me for college so that I can learn how to be on my own while being successful in my classes. This Brown PreCollege program also can help me make friends and learn more about myself. Thankfully I got a large scholarship for the program based on Financial Aid and my grades. However, it does not fund the entire cost of the program. Any amount of donations will be appreciated, thank you for reading and supporting me!
