Prayers for Mike (Jaime) Grund

On Saturday, August 11th, Mike was involved in a life threatening motorcycle accident. After being rushed to the hospital, Mike suffered a subdural/subarachnoid hematoma  and was immediately brought into surgery. Doctors placed him on a ventilator and removed part of his skull on the left side to relieve the pressure for swelling.  Mike also suffered from a hemopneumothorax  forcing tubes to be surgically placed directly into his lung to drain the blood. CT results from early Sunday morning showed another spot of blood on the right side of the brain, and back to the operating room he went.  Mike has suffered severe road rash, multiple broken ribs, a broken shoulder blade, and several facial fractures. With two separate brain surgeries, being on a continuous ventilator in the ICU, the hospital bills are increasingly racking up quickly. At this time, we are not sure that Mike will ever wake up and if he does, we are not certain to what capacity he will recover at.
