Swim Equipment Fundraiser

We have a concern. Here at New Mark, we do not like to fundraise. We all get hit with the need to fundraise for other things all year long. This is why we don’t ask. This year, we have had some major problems that have occurred and a lot of equipment needing replacement that we weren't expecting to have to replace this year. One big problem was, In 2016, our credit card processor through team unify, mistyped our federal tax ID number. That caused them to withhold thousands of dollars from us. That problem was noticed immediately and the card company was called. Our treasurer spent hours and hours with their head leadership to resolve this problem. The worker that made the mistake was terminated but the company could not help us get our money back from the IRS. We hired a CPA this year to get that money back. It has been filed and we are awaiting it’s arrival but we have no guarantee or timeline of when it will be here. We need your help desperately this season. We have no time for restaurant fundraisers or swim a thon coordinating. We need to raise money to help us with the pricey installation of the blocks or the lane lines. For example, If Each swimmer on our team donated a minimum of $10.00 it would almost pay for the new Kiefer Advantage Swim lines and shipping. The block installation cost is mounting by the minute due to very difficult installation that we were not expecting. This fundraiser is not mandatory but your help and generosity is greatly appreciated. All of this being said, all of the equipment has now been maintained and or replaced and we should not have any major replacements of crucial swim equipment in the next few years.
