HELP THE HANLONS
Donation protected
Joshua Hanlon, 20, lives with his family outside of Las
Vegas. He is a student at the University of Nevada at Reno, and it was in the
Lake Tahoe area that Josh sustained critical injuries when a vehicle hit his
motorcycle Sunday afternoon, August 4, 2013. He was life-flighted to Renown Trauma Center in Reno where, as of this
writing, he remains in ICU. Josh has a long and difficult recovery ahead of
him.
The first major hurdle for his family is to see him well enough to be transported back to the Las Vegas area. Las Vegas is approximately eight hours by car from Reno.
His parents Bill and Wendy Hanlon and his brother Jake have been by his side since receiving the call and making the trip to Reno. They have many challenges facing them as well. The Hanlon's are a family of believers and know that all things work for good to them that love the Lord. They are in the hands of the Almighty and have been more than encouraged by the many prayers and well-wishes for all of them.
Many family and friends have asked if there is more that they can do. Bill and Wendy continue to covet your prayers for Josh as well as for themselves. It is a source of comfort to them. But we can do more to ease their burden.
Many of us are miles from them and cannot offer to bring them a dinner or make a hospital visit. But through this site we can contribute to a fund to help defray the mounting costs of being able to be near to Josh during this critical time.
Thank you in advance for whatever you are able to do for this sweet family. Bill, Wendy,Josh and Jake God loves you and so do we!!
