Help Recover The Van

Friends, as you know I moved my son, my dog and I into our van, and we are going across the country trying to build community around free vegan food, sharing meals with people in need, speaking of compassion to animals, living vanlife in the service of others. We are back in New York City for a week, and the van was just booted for outstanding parking tickets that we have received but been unable to pay the last few months. I am beyond broke. If we don't come up with the entire amount $1,572.93 by June 7th in the morning, the van will get towed, more fees added to it. We will lose not just our outreach project, not just our purpose, but also our home, and being out there doing this outreach, I can say that I am terrified of being out in the streets with a kid. If this feels like begging, it's because it is. I often open my heart and offer my assistance to anyone who needs it, this time it's me who needs help. Maybe if we share this with our contacts, something can be done?
