Carmen's Fight to Beat Bone Cancer
Donation protected
Carmen was recently Diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (Bone Cancer). This road is going to be long and bumpy. The cancer has ravaged a large portion of her tibia; once the cancer is gone, many Orthopedic Surgeons will work to rebuild the bone. That will allow this active 14 year old to get back to Rugby and other Sports. The cancer treatment alone will take a minimum of 6 months. Mom and Carmen will have to live away from their home, family, and friends for at least half a year. She'll be starting Grade 10 in the Cancer Wing of Children's Hospital, not the ideal place to start a school year. Food, parking, not working, etc is going to take a toll on their finances. Looking to help off set some of those costs to alleviate any extra worries this Family will have to go through. Thank you so much for your generosity.
