Hope for Daddy

My dad, David Bennett is 56 years old and he has worked self construction all his life. Because of that, he has no health insurance to support him through this difficult journey. Marilyn Trotter, my stepmom, has had to quit her job in order to take care of him. He recently has been diagnosed with lung cancer and the doctors believe it is non-small lung cell carcinoma (NSLCS). It has spread to his L4 lumbar spine and more biopsies are to be done to have a final answer so that he can start treatment as soon as possible. Thankfully, the cancer has not spread to his brain. He does have severe COPD, so he will not be a candidate for surgery and will be treated with chemotherapy. As his daughter who wants to see her dad push through this with love and support from family and friends, i feel like this would be a great source of hope and will encourage him to fight through this.
