Just an update so far: D.C. has been really incredible. It’s been an amazing opportunity to be involved in historical moments. I am so thankful for this experience. I was recently selected to serve an internship in Washington D.C. I have spent the last 7 years in the Air Force. After coming home from my second deployment to Afghanistan last year, I knew I wanted to move on to school and pursue a career in politics. I've been extremely blessed in my service and opportunities. This internship is unpaid. My only concern is to raise enough money to support my expenses while I'm living in D.C. This is an opportunity of a lifetime and would be grateful for any help offered. Thank you and God Bless the U.S.A.
