Continuing to Support UnTheatre Co

So about ten or more years ago I saw a little theatre group in Chicago doing some wild and crazy work called Neo-Futurism. Its truth and poignancy and just overall funky fun vibe really stuck with me! Fast forward to a few years ago when Carson graduated and I was feeling completely baffled by what to do next. A friend asked me what I always wanted to do and this was the first thing that came to mind. At the time I was working with Matrix Theatre Company and All the Worlds A Stage and it hit me that this project would not just be a force for social justice on its own but also support some of the work they were doing as well. I made a cold call to the founder of Neo-Futurism and sure enough he was on board too! So now it's time...we have an extended run license for 6 years to start a Neo-Futurist group in Detroit/Southeast Michigan and the rights to present Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind - 30 Plays in 60 Minutes (doesn't that sound like crazy fun?!) We don't open until October and it'll be two years before we are up and running enough to start generating any significant revenue to sustain the company so I am coming to you all for help! If you could clean out the bottom of your purses...check under the couch cushions...or sell a kidney to drop a penny or two my way to help out I'd be infinitely grateful!!!!
