Hi, this is a photo of my new wheelchair guide dog, Ketch, who was trained by Mark "Dogman" Castillero, certified guide dog instructor of Pro-Train Institute in Vista, California. Mister Castillero is one of only two certified guide dog instructors in the United States who specifically trains dogs to guide visually impaired individuals using motorized wheelchairs. Ketch has finished his guide dog training and is scheduled to undergo team training with me in Chico, California as soon as the covid-19 quarantine has ended. Mister Castillero also trained 2 beautiful Labrador guide dogs, named Scooby and Captain, who helped me overcome the effects of severe cerebral palsy and vision loss over the past 16 years. Sadly, Scooby and Captain passed away from old age and cancer. Now, it's time for Ketch to help. A healthy well trained guide dog like Ketch, can work for about 10 years which cost $15,000. About $0.04 an hour. A good deal , I think,  for the independence and companionship this wonderful dog will provide. Donations are greatly appreciated!  Many thanks for your support!
