Hello to all of our friends and family,
As some of you may know, our family is going through a very difficult time right now. June 26th, my husband Jeremiah came clean to me about an addiction he has been battling for the past several months, he loves us very much and did not want to loose us so he tried numerous time to quit on his own. He realized that he could not do it without God's help, so he came to me and told me he wanted to go to the House of Prayer, a Christian recovery center for men.
He has been doing amazing there and all seemed to be going well, I had the support of his family and still had a well paying full-time job, but on July 9th my department was suddenly laid off work. I was left by myself with the monthly bills that averaged $1,800.00 and that was without without daycare. I immediately began searching for a new job and thankfully God blessed me with one, I started July 29th. The pay is a significant decrease and I am still working my way up to 40hrs/week.
I was able to find a more affordable in-home child care for Jonah, but I am currently about $700.00 short on my bills each month and it hurts me to ask Jeremiah's family for that amount every month. Jeremiah plans on staying in the recovery center until the end of December, that's why I am asking for $3,500. Please do not feel obligated to give a large portion, only give as much as you feel God tells you to, every little bit will help us more than you can imagine. Thank you in advance to everyone who is willing to give their support and love to my family during this hard time. If you are unable to give, please pray for us, we know we serve a God who has an unlimited supply of money. Thank you all again!
