2nd Annual 3v3 Charity Tournament for Special Needs Hockey

Tax deductible
Hi, I’m James Murphy, a senior at Fairfield Prep and I’m a hockey player. I’ve played hockey my entire life and have many great memories from it.

Ever since freshman year I’ve been a mentor for Southern Connecticut Storm Special Hockey, a non-profit whose mission is to provide children and young adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to play ice hockey.

Last year I began this tournament with the goal of doing more for this program I've committed so much time to. Last year was a large success raising almost 14,000 dollars with the original goal being just 5,000. That was enough money to cover the tuition costs for almost 25 players.

This year my goal is to raise 20,000 dollars but I hope we can raise even more. This year we are holding not only a high school tournament, but also a mens league tournament. I hope to spread both awareness and donations by expanding the tournament.

Any amount you are able to contribute will help provide these players with access to this sport we all love to play. Also, please help me spread the word to any families you know where the sport of hockey has been important to them. Thank you!
