Akira Tsukasa, Japanese XM Researcher, head of IQTech East, has decided to bring a new and exciting physical and mental challenge to the game of Ingress. Out of 99 applicants, 25 outstanding agents from each faction were chosen to try and exceed her expectations. Our of 25 Res, 3 are representing North America (USA).
Agent Maniac15 (Access Level 16)
Agent SharkGundam (Access Level 16)
Agent jplolo (Access Level 16)
This mysterious event takes place at the theme park Highland Resort and is mysterious in nature. Agents may need decoding skills, lore research help, glyph mastery, physical strength, escape room experience, and team work to succeed at this unknown challenge. Help these three agents travel and represent your faction. The results of this competition could alter the course of the Magnus Reawakens Series, and possibly lead to in-game changes that will favor the Resistance for Q3 and Q4 Anomalies.
My name is Eric Altman.
I am a level 16 resistance agent from Plymouth WI and have been playing ingress for over 2 years. Since I started playing Ingress, the one thing I've enjoyed the most is meeting new people. Being able to meet a teammate, or opponent, and shake their hand connects me differently than any other game. I enjoy finding unique cities, as well as portals, and finding hidden gems via scanner, as opposed to a tourist map.
Being a part of the regional and global community also allows me to reach out regarding any topic. Fields, travel accommodations, public transportation, places of interest, farms, even large portal clusters are easier to find when talking to local agents.
Agent Olympiad peaked my interest because it showcases the best of the best. Intelligence, knowledge of the game, cleverness, quick thinking, efficiency, and a physical aspect will all play a part in the event. All of these aspects I pride myself with during daily gameplay. Pushing my limits with player versus player, face to face, action against the best is a challenge I'd love to face.
My love of travel has brought me to 6 of the 7 continents by the age of 24. Visiting Japan would help me accomplish my goal of hitting all 7 continents by the time I'm 25.
