Ray Salvador's Family Support Fund

On May 18th 2017 my father-in-law Ray Salvador, who is a lineman, was electrocuted on the job. The details about what exactly happened are still being investigated. The line he made contact with was 4KV (2400 volts). His doctors say that the electricity entered his body through his fingers and came out through his shoulder. He has already lost his index finger and part of his thumb on his right hand. He has 3rd degree burns on his neck and 2nd degree burns on his face. His left hand also has 3rd degree burns on his palm and fingertips. He has undergone two surgeries to remove burned skin and to start the process of closing the hole in his shoulder. Many more surgeries are to follow. He is being very well taken care of by the doctors and nurses. The company he was contracted to work for has been wonderful in helping and making sure family has had places to stay and rides to the airport. This go fund me site is being set up for Ray, and for our family. Most that know Ray, know that all three of his sons do not live in California. He has other family members who also live out of state. It's extremely difficult being away from family especially during a traumatic time. This go fund me account will help make it possible for his sons and other family members to visit if need be and also help his wife, Jamie, with extra expenses while Ray is in the hospital recovering. Ray has a long road to recovery ahead but with the support of his family and friends and his unwavering faith in our Lord Jesus Christ I know he will come out even stronger. He has reminded us all that miracles do happen as he's lucky to be alive and we are so grateful that he is still with us. Thank you in advance for your constant support, love and prayers.
