My name is Babylyne Isa and I am one of five lovely ladies who make up the vocal quintet, Point of Light.
We are first and foremost, a diverse family of Heart-ists who absolutely love, breathe and live to sing. Point of Light is Heather Dubois, Theresa Dubois, Cerise Patron, Vicky Andam and me, Babylyne Isa.
POL (not "pole", but P.O.L.) has been together since November of 2011. Our shared vision is to be a positive, uplifting, empowering source and force of love through our music and philanthropic endeavors. Our dream is simple, to be a positive Point of Light in, through and to the world by being the change we wish to see.
Our dream is to share a message of faith, hope and love. Through embracing faith, hope and love there is healing, there is breakthrough, there is peace, there is growth, there is inspiration, there is laughter, and there are tears of joy. Will you join us in our mission?
In order to take the next steps towards our heart's work, we are reaching out to you, our beloved fans, friends and family, for prayerful, loving donations towards our debut and Christmas CDs scheduled for release by mid to late October.
POL has been praying and visioning together, writing songs and starting the groundwork for many projects. This is our first huge project and we are overflowing with joy, excitement and anticipation! We have prayerfully chosen to work with local producer, Don Wood, of DW Productions and can't wait to get into the studio.
Your donated funds will be put towards the costs of copyrighting, producing, duplicating, packaging and distributing our CDs. Ten percent of the donations will be tithed and ten percent of all CD sales will be tithed. We strongly believe in giving back to those who spiritually feed and nourish our hearts and souls so whatever good we receive will always be tithed upon.
Funds remaining after the costs for the CDs will go towards audio and video equipment for the group. Our global vision starts right here at home and a complete sound system that we can travel with will be an incredible tool to allow us to provide the sound system at venues or events that do not have one. This way no one venue or event will ever be turned down for this reason. Additionally, the video equipment will be an invaluable tool for the group to play back a performance and identify areas we can work on to improve ourselves individually and as a group so we can continue to grow as heart-ists. It will also allow us to reach others across the globe by posting quality videos of our performances on YouTube and our POL website.
