See that girl in the photo? That's me, from before I got really sick. It's only from six years ago, but I can no longer remember feeling as good as I did then.
For the past three months, I've been vomiting almost daily, sometimes more than once a day. For the past ten months, I've been having severe IBS symptoms. For the past six years, I've been wearing glasses. For more than half of my life, I've had a dysregulated temperature- my nose will be freezing while my cheeks are on fire, etc. For as long as I can remember, I've had difficulty hearing what people say.
All of these are symptoms of the same thing. But I need an Environmental Doctor to diagnose me with whatever I may have (more than likely, this will be mold poisoning).
Now the struggle is to get me there. Insurance won't cover my visits to see Dr. Lisa Nagy, an Environmental Doctor who went through this herself. Neither will they pay to get me down (or up, depending on where I happen to be at the time) to Martha's Vineyard, or for the hotels we would need to stay at while we're there. They won't cover the special deodorant, shampoo, and laundry detergent I need, either.
That's what this is for. I need help. And I'm asking for it. Please, help if you can, even if what you can is only a dollar or two.
