3Some Web Series

3Some, is a 7 episode youtube dramedy series about  an aspiring actress Lex Carter, who  leaves her hometown of Philly to crash on her ex’s couch while pursuing her dreams in LA, she gets an opportunity of a lifetime that quickly turns into a nightmare and she finds herself apart of #metoo.  Lex is left with 2 choices; to deal with it the conventional way or the street way. 

Enough is enough after almost 18 years of sexual harassment in my life. It’s time to put my pain into action and do something about what has happened to me and other women and girls across the world. My mission is simple: to inspire women from a young age to recognize the value of their individual and unique voices. 

3some was birthed in 2016, as just an outlet for me to release on paper what I was experiencing in the world, without actually speaking to the world. The more I would write, the more I would engage with people who just so happen to talk about the conditions of their lives, realizing that they are common, and that they want them to change. 

In just a year later, the birth of the #MeToo movement happened in October 2017 and has signaled a massive shift in society’s attitude towards sexual harassment in society.

When we speak up the future is brighter, when we see ourselves it creates purpose. This creative digital series will be a light for the movement and in an instrument for healing to take place.
