Help Silas get top surgery!

Hey there! I’m sure the title here says enough, but I’m looking to take a step forward on my journey as a man. Top surgery, above all else, is the most impactful surgery for my own sanity and health, which is why it takes precedence over some of the smaller surgical procedures I have planned for later in my life as an open and proud transman. 

Who are you? 

Great question! I’m Silas, an overall mess of anartist who has made the PNW his roost for now. I’m an actor, entertainer, musician, tailor, and character artist. I know a thing or two about shapes and how to make them look good—unless we’re talking about this unfortunate torso situation—which is where this fundraiser comes in!

Why should I help you?

Another great question, but this one, I can only answer with this; there’s no ‘real’ answer to that. In a perfect world, the fact a person needed help alone should be drive to get them care and assistance, but that’s not always how it is. Should you donate, you’re helping someone finally break out of an otherwise permanent cycle of doubt, loathing, and pain. Breast cancer is a high risk factor in my family, as well as weak ribs due to an untimely accident in my teens; Where for some, wearing binders and other methods of temporary breast sizing can suffice to live happily, sadly that isn’t the case for me. 

So this is pretty important to you?

Very, in fact. I wouldn’t ask for help like this otherwise. The current set goal is enough to cover all surgery costs, as well as a little extra to make sure we have food/bills assurance while I’m laid out post-op.
