3rd Grade BPS Classroom

On September 7th, I will meet 25 eager students and families who are ready for an awesome 3rd grade year. Each of them deserves an education that will prepare them to be a leader, a friend, and a scholar.
I've been lucky enough to meet some of the wonderful kids and families I will be working with in our classroom this coming year. As a team, my students, my students' families, and I will be working hard all year to ensure every child learns A LOT and enjoys their 3rd grade year.
In order to do this, we need a classroom that is accessible, culturally responsive, and challenging. We need powerful books, writing supplies, math materials, and ways to organize and manage it all.
I am so lucky that my school has provided a generous budget to build our classroom library. With these funds, I will be purchasing most of the engaging books that will be on hand in our classroom. Other important items that will be purchased with the funds from this campaign include:
- Book bins for book shelves and for students
- World map
- Visual clock/timer
- Pocket Chart for organizing choice time
- Class sets of pocket folders
- Pencil sharpener, stapler, magnets, color expo markers
- Classroom storage
